Brass and Blood is the first collection of short stories surrounding Vampyres. James I Jones decided to write the collection after the hype of a famous vampyre story made him tired and decided to make his debut with a story which explores the Vampyre myth but after a half a year of writing he felt the book doesn't fit any genre so he created his own called SteamNoir.
